Residency in Belem do Pará, Amazonas
With the support of the Secretary of Culture of the Pará State in Brazil, I travelled around the region of Belem do Pará, into the jungle through the Amazon river and its Igarapés, all the while taking spectacular pictures and material for future work.
Belem is the east entrance to the Amazonas and a cultural and gastronomic hub, in their markets you can find small producers of Açaí, cocoa and river fishes. Some of the architecture dates back from the year 1616 and can be seen in museums, churches and buildings, being Fort Castelo the most noted example.
